The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has released the FYJC round 2 admission schedule. In the first round, over five lakh candidates have confirmed admission to Class 11. The second phase of admissions will start on July 10.
As per the official notification, candidates can upgrade or edit their application process between July 10 to 13. The second merit list for FYJC admissions will be released on July 17, and candidates will have to confirm their allotted seats between July 18 to 21. The list of vacant seats will be out on July 23.

Out of the 5,08,096 candidates who confirmed their admissions in the first round, 4,32,287 did so through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP), while 75,809 secured their seats via various quotas such as minority, management, and in-house, officials said.
Among the eight divisions for FYJC admissions across the state, Pune recorded the highest number of admissions with 91,001, followed by Mumbai with 87,558. Latur division had the fewest admissions in the first round, with 32,856 confirmations.
The science stream had the highest number of admissions in the first round, totaling 2,35,506, followed by the Arts stream with 1,17,447, while the Commerce stream confirmed 79,334 admissions.
The first merit list for FYJC admissions, delayed multiple times due to technical and other issues, was released on June 28. Candidates assigned seats in the merit list had until July 7 to confirm their admissions. It was mandatory for candidates to confirm their admission if they were allotted a seat in their first preferred college.
