The Bar Council of India (BCI) is set to release the AIBE 20 (XX) Notification 2025 soon. Once released, interested and eligible candidates will be able to access the direct application link on the official AIBE website at allindiabarexamination.com.
Last year, the application process commenced on September 3 and the exam was held on November 24, 2024. While in 2023, AIBE 18 registration started on August 16 and the exam was scheduled for November 26. Looking at past years’ trends, the application process is expected to begin anytime soon this year.
This official notice will provide essential details, including the AIBE 20 exam date, registration schedule, application process, eligibility criteria, syllabus, and other important guidelines. Candidates intending to take the All India Bar Examination (XX) must keep track of the official website for updates.
AIBE (XX) 2025: Educational Qualification
To be eligible for AIBE, candidates must hold a three- or five-year LL.B. degree from BCI-recognised universities or approved colleges. This includes graduates, current students, and those who previously enrolled but withdrew from their courses. Final-year and final-semester LL.B. students with no pending balances are also eligible to apply.
Candidates must note that only those who pass the examination will receive the Certificate of Practice (CoP) from BCI, which is essential for law graduates to practise in courts across India.

Step 2: Click on the AIBE 20 registration 2025 link on the homepage.
Step 3: Complete the registration process and log in.
Step 4: Fill out the application form.
Step 5: Make the payment and upload the required documents.
Step 6: Review the form and save a hard copy for your records.
The AIBE 19 pass rate for general category candidates falls between 40 per cent and 45 per cent. The pass rate for candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Persons with Disabilities (PWD) categories has been increased to 40 per cent from the earlier 35 per cent mark.
